I use examples from my own experiences to convey underlying legal principles, with the idea that this will enable students who are or will become business people to be able to identify and deal with legal issues in a business context and avoid the more serious problems that those laws can create for business people. I also encourage my students to understand and use analytic and communication skills, through writing and presentation exercises.
