Prof. Stephen McCarthy is an adjunct professor in the Accounting and Finance Department at the College of Business and Public Management. His career has been deeply rooted in his role as a CPA. Every job Prof. McCarthy has held and each not-for-profit entity where he has volunteered has been influenced by my CPA credentials and related experience. The continuing professional education (CPE) requirement of the CPA has also enhanced his career through ongoing learning. For the past eight years, Prof. McCarthy has been part of the AICPA Exam Writing team, where he writes questions for the CPA exam on technology.
