NJCU became Kean Jersey City on July 1, 2026. Students in Jersey City will experience a seamless transition to Kean University, with expanded academic advising, student support, clubs, activities and events right here on the Jersey City campus.
First-Year Applicants
You are currently enrolled in high school or completing a high school equivalency program. Any college credits you earned were completed before receiving your high school diploma or equivalent.
Transfer Applicants
You completed one or more college-level credits (100 level or higher) at a regionally accredited college or university after graduating from high school or earning a high school equivalency diploma.
Graduate Applicants
You have earned, or expect to earn, a bachelor's degree before enrolling in a graduate program at Kean Jersey City.
