Mission Statement
The mission of the Kean University Sustainability Squad is to champion and drive impactful sustainability initiatives. Our goal is to educate the campus and wider community about sustainability issues and practices by increasing awareness and understanding. Through informing others, the Sustainability Squad hopes to inspire and encourage sustainable lifestyle changes and behaviors. We strive to adopt meaningful practices that foster environmental protection, social responsibility, and economic resilience.
The Sustainability Squad’s purpose is to be a catalyst for positive change by empowering our community through education, advocacy, and action to ensure a healthier future for all. All students are welcome to join the Sustainability Squad. Together, our actions can contribute to the well-being of people and the planet.
