A mentor is required for SuRE-First R16 grants and has an essential role in the success of the SuRE-First grantee. This one-hour webinar will help researchers determine what to consider in identifying a mentor and interacting effectively with their mentor. Dr. Spear will describe some expectations of the mentor from the NIH perspective. Three SuRE-First grantees will serve as panelists and share their experiences. There will be ample time for Q&A.
