Due to extreme heat and our utility provider's report of ongoing power disruptions, Kean University’s main campus in Union will operate on a fully remote schedule for the remainder of the week.
All classes will be conducted remotely, and employees should work remotely during regular Summer business hours.
Only essential personnel should report to work as required. Employees with questions about their status should consult with their supervisor.
Cougars Den will operate from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday.
Kean Ocean will follow Ocean County College’s operating schedule.
Kean University’s Jazz & Roots Music Festival drew a crowd of more than 4,000 to the Lawn at Enlow Hall on Saturday, September 24, for an evening of jazz, blues and reggae music, featuring Jazz Master Dianne Reeves and other performers.
“Are you ready to walk? Let’s go!” said Kean President Lamont O. Repollet, Ed.D., as he kicked off the University’s new Well-Being at Work initiative on a beautiful September morning outside Miron Student Center.
Kean offered a dozen pre-college and youth programs over the summer, giving 400 students an opportunity to explore theatre, fine arts, scientific research, human rights, soccer and more.
