What You Learn

Your coursework will focus on the sciences, math and statistics. You will practice laboratory skills and receive training in a medical setting.

  • Learn hands-on procedures and lab-management techniques
  • Address the theoretical and practical aspects of each of the major laboratory disciplines
  • Train to work with infectious specimens or hazardous materials
  • Sharpen analytical and diagnostic knowledge
  • Prepare for national certification in medical technology, through experiential learning

For required certification, students take the American Society for Clinical Pathology Exam.
