What You Learn

In Kean's SLPD program, you will prepare for advanced clinical practice or administrative positions in medical, rehabilitation and other clinical settings as well as to teach at the university level.

Benefits of the program:

  • The opportunity to specialize in one or two areas within the discipline
  • Emphasis on evidence-based practice to stimulate clinical research and improve clinical supervision training and skills
  • Exploration of the social and cultural aspects of communication sciences and disorders as it applies to both allied health care and educational services to underserved populations

  • Career advancement and leadership opportunities in both educational and medical settings
  • Classes are conveniently held on weekday evenings after 5 p.m.
