Dr. Myrsini Voulgari is a forensic anthropologist specializing in the analysis of commingled and fragmented human remains through advanced 3D geometric morphometrics. She earned her Ph.D. in Forensic Anthropology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where her research focused on improving methods of identification in complex forensic contexts. With experience in over 100 forensic cases across Greece, Dr. Voulgari has contributed to national and humanitarian projects, including the identification of missing Greek Cypriots from the 1974 events and victims of the 2019 Attica wildfires. Dedicated to advancing both bioarchaeology and forensic science, she begins her role this fall as an Assistant Professor, teaching courses in forensic sciences and forensic anthropology.
