Union, N.J. - Kean University hosted a group of computer science department chairs from throughout New Jersey and New York on Wednesday, August 17, for the first annual New Jersey Computer Science Higher Education awards.

The oldest person in the United States is Kean University alumna Adele Henderson Dunlap. The 113-year-old graduated in 1923 from Kean’s predecessor, Newark Normal School, with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education.

Premiere Stages will present Las Cruces by Vincent Delaney, the winner of the 2016 Premiere Stages Play Festival, September 1 – 18 in Kean University’s Zella Fry Theatre.

Recent Kean University graduate Jezzamine Wolk is embarking on a career in broadcasting with NBCUniversal. 

Kean University hosted CS4HS, a 3-day Google-funded professional development program for high school computer science (CS) teachers July 27-29.

Union, N.J. – The Kean University doctoral program, Psy.D. in Combined School and Clinical Psychology, has received the maximum, seven-year accreditation by the American Psychology Association (APA). The APA Commission on Accreditation is recognized by the U.S.
