Assessment Summit

The Division of Strategic Analytics and Data Illumination (SADI) and the Office of Accreditation and Assessment (OAA) hosted the third annual 2025 Assessment Summit on Thursday, October 30, 2025, in the STEM Building from 2 p.m.–4:30 p.m. The event focused on advancing assessment practices, sharing innovative ideas, and fostering collaboration across the University. This year’s theme was Mapping the Future: Use of Data.

The summit featured a series of interactive workshops designed to support data-informed decision-making and enhance assessment strategies.

During the 2025 Assessment Summit, we announced the launch of the Kean University Student Success Dashboard, a major step forward in advancing our Strategic Plan and strengthening Kean’s mission to ensure every student thrives.

Developed in collaboration with Dr. Jeff Gold, founder of Insights2Action and a national leader in student success analytics, the dashboard brings clear, actionable data directly to faculty and staff. Its intuitive design makes it easy to see where students are excelling and where additional support may be needed.

This new tool supports a growing culture of evidence at Kean, where data empowers all of us to improve student outcomes.
