Assessment Summit

The Division of Strategic Analytics and Data Illumination (SADI) and the Office of Accreditation and Assessment (OAA) are pleased to announce the Fourth Annual Assessment Summit, taking place on Thursday, November 12, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Miron Student Center.

This year's theme, One Kean, One Vision: Using Assessment to Advance Our Strategic Plan Across Campuses, highlights the University's commitment to using assessment to drive continuous improvement, support student success, and advance institutional priorities across all Kean campuses.

We are excited to welcome Dr. Stephen Hundley as the keynote speaker for our 2026 Assessment Summit. Dr. Hundley is the Founding Executive Director of the Center for Leading Improvements in Higher Education and Professor of Organizational Leadership at Indiana University Indianapolis. Dr. Hundley share meaningful and practical assessment strategies designed to strengthen assessment practices and advance continuous improvement in higher education.

The event will also feature a series of interactive workshops designed to showcase innovative assessment practices, promote data-informed decision-making, and foster collaboration among faculty, administrators, and staff. Participants will have the opportunity to share ideas, explore emerging assessment strategies, and learn practical approaches that support continuous improvement across academic and administrative units.

Registration will open the first week of October, with workshop details to follow!
