Assessment Summit

The Division of Strategic Analytics and Data Illumination (SADI) and the Office of Accreditation and Assessment (OAA) cordially invite all faculty and staff to our third annual 2025 Assessment Summit which will take place on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 2 p.m.-4:30 p.m. in the STEM building. This event will be dedicated to advancing assessment practices, sharing innovative ideas, and fostering collaboration. The theme of the event this year will be Mapping the Future: Use of Data.
The summit this year will include workshops by our keynote speaker, Jeff Gold, of Insights 2 Action, a student success data collaborative advancing student success with data-informed insights.

Assessment Summit 2025 Keynote Speaker
Jeff Gold, Ed.D.
Founder, Insights2Action
Dr. Jeff Gold began his career as a bilingual public-school teacher in San Diego and has over 25 years of higher education experience in both the public and private sectors. Prior to forming Insights2Action Jeff served as the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Success at the California State University (CSU). In this role, Jeff led Graduation Initiative 2025, the CSU’s signature strategic effort to facilitate the path to a high-quality college degree for an additional half million students.
Jeff is widely known for his development of the nationally acclaimed Student Success Dashboard, a cutting-edge visualization tool that democratizes data and empowers faculty, staff, and administrators to better understand their impact on student success and equity. In partnership with the CSU, Jeff scaled the dashboard’s adoption across 29 universities and was awarded a patent by the U.S. Patent and Trade Office.
Jeff holds an Ed.D. in Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California, an MBA from the Escuela de Negocios Las Palmas, and a BA from the University of California, San Diego.
