Course Evaluations

The Office of Accreditation and Assessment (OAA) is pleased to announce that Faculty Course Evaluations are now administered through Watermark Course Evaluations & Surveys.

Fall 2026 1st Half Term - Course evaluations will be open Friday, October 9 through Friday, October 23, 2026.

Watermark Course Evaluations & Surveys is fully integrated with Canvas, making course evaluations more visible, accessible, and convenient for students. Students will receive prompts in Canvas when evaluations are available, allowing them to provide feedback within a platform they already use regularly for their coursework. This streamlined process is designed to increase student engagement and participation and encourage more meaningful feedback that can be used to strengthen teaching, courses, and the overall student learning experience. Faculty can also use the Course Evaluations link in Canvas to monitor response rates and access their reports once they are released.

Information for Faculty

• No evaluation link needs to be shared with students. Students will be prompted to complete their evaluations when they log in to Canvas. OAA will also send email reminders throughout the evaluation period.
• Check response rates by selecting the Course Evaluations link from the Canvas sidebar menu.
• Access course evaluation reports through the same Course Evaluations link once reports are released.
• Student responses are completely anonymous, and faculty will not have access to results until after final grades have been submitted.

Encouraging Student Participation

Faculty are encouraged to set aside a few minutes during class for students to complete their evaluations and to remind students that their feedback is an important part of improving courses, teaching, and the overall student experience.

OAA appreciates the continued partnership of our faculty as we implement our new course evaluation platform and strengthen the University’s commitment to assessment and continuous improvement.

Historical Course Evaluation Reports

Effective June 30, 2026, access to the Campus Labs platform will no longer be available.

Historical course evaluation reports from Fall 2019 through Summer I 2026 have been downloaded from Campus Labs and securely stored in the OAA's digital repository. OAA will continue to maintain these records for future reference and reporting purposes.

Faculty may request copies of their individual course evaluation reports by completing the Faculty Course Evaluation Report Request Form and providing the applicable college, term(s), and program information.

Deans and Department Chairs will be provided access to their respective college and department folders. They may also submit requests through the Deans/Chairs - Faculty Course Evaluation Report Request Form if needed.
