Specialized Accreditation
The Office of Accreditation and Assessment (OAA) supports institutional and specialized accreditation efforts across Kean University. Working in partnership with academic programs and college leadership, OAA provides guidance on accreditation requirements, self-studies, annual reporting, substantive change requests, and site visit preparation. Through these efforts, OAA helps ensure compliance with accreditor standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, assessment, and academic excellence.
Monday.com Accreditation Schedule Management System
The OAA utilizes Monday.com as its centralized platform for managing accreditation schedules. This system tracks important events and documents related to accreditation, including Annual Reports, Self-Studies, and Program Responses to Site Visits. It also monitors important due dates for annual accreditation fees, site visit expenses, and other miscellaneous fees. The platform also tracks specific information related to accreditation-related payments.
Please contact Rachel Kahn at rachel.kahn@kean.edu to request access to Monday.com. Please note that all Deans, Chairs, and Accreditation Coordinators have been granted access to the boards associated with their respective college.

Accreditation Fee Processing and Budget Responsibility
The OAA is responsible for processing accreditation-related fees for all accredited programs. Please note that while OAA manages the processing of these fees, the costs are charged to the accreditation budgets of the respective colleges, not to the Division of Strategic Analytics and Data Illumination (SADI) budget used by OAA.
