Apply for Housing

Welcome to Kean University and the Office of Residential Student Services. Thank you for your interest in living on campus during the upcoming 2020-2021 academic year. Housing Applications for the Fall 2020 semester are now available on KeanWise.

How to Apply for Housing

Students can only apply for housing after they have been admitted to Kean University. Along with your acceptance packet, accepted students receive their Kean University login and password credentials to access the university’s computerized registration system, “KeanWISE.”

Housing Application Instructions

  1. You must first access your Housing Portal, by clicking HERE.
  2. Log in using your Kean credentials. Your username is the same as your Kean email and the password is your Kean email password.
  3. Select "Housing Applications and Requests."
  4. Select "2020-2021 Application" to begin your housing application.

Application Fee

As a courtesy, as of Monday, April 13, 2020 we will no longer require immediate payment of the housing application fee in order to submit a housing application. The $125 housing application fee will be deferred and added to the cost of your housing assignment, which will be due in July when your Fall 2020 housing charges are posted to your university account.

If you submitted a 2020-2021 housing application fee prior to April 13, you will not be charged an application fee in July.

 

Housing Accommodations

New students requesting housing accommodations must contact the Office of Disability Services and submit a Medical Verification Form. For returning students, the form must be submitted no later than Friday, May 15, 2020. For incoming freshmen, the form must be submitted no later than Friday, June 5, 2020.
