Annual Employee Appreciation Day
Annually, President Lamont O. Repollet, Ed.D., invites all Kean employees to attend this special appreciation event each year in June as a thank you for all of their contributions and hard work.
3rd Annual Employee Appreciation Day
Tuesday, June 24, 2025
We are excited to welcome you and celebrate Kean’s rich and vibrant history on June 24, 2025, starting at noon in Downs Hall!
Appreciation Day will take place rain or shine. In the event of rain, an updated schedule will be shared on Monday, June 23.
Check In at Downs Hall Lobby: Employees are welcome to arrive beginning at noon. Please make sure you have your Employee ID Card to check in for the event so you can be put in the pool for our random raffle prizes! We request that all employees take and wear a name tag throughout the event.
Cougar Pantry Donation Drive: We are pleased to once again partner with the Cougar Pantry to accept donations that support Kean students! As a thank you, you will receive a Personify Health Voucher code for 200 bonus points!
Please bring an item (or few) to donate. Here are the Cougar Pantry’s most needed items:

Body Wash and Soap, Body Wipes, Deodorant and Lotions

Feminine Hygiene Products: Tampons/Pads/Liners

Dental Care: Toothpaste, Toothbrush and Floss

Note: While donations of goods are preferred, there will also be an opportunity to make an online monetary contribution to the Cougar Pantry via the Kean Foundation.
Lunch: A buffet lunch will be served, and seating will be available in Downs Hall as well as an outdoor tented area on Downs Lawn.
Thank you to the Office of Africana Studies for partnering on a special dessert offering from Just Fish in Newark, NJ!
Event T-Shirt and Dress Code: This year, our event theme is an ode to Kean’s history and just how far we have come, we hope you love this retro spin on our classic Kean logo! We encourage employees to dress casually and comfortably for the weather and activities, including shorts and sneakers.
Pick up your event T-Shirt in the Office of Human Resources in the Administration Building (2nd Floor).
