Step I: Benefits New Hire Orientation
Each full time new hire will have a personalized new hire orientation session with a benefits specialist to review all benefit offerings and answer your questions!

The medical plans available to Kean employees for Plan Year 2021 are:
· PPO Plans:
o For IFPTE, AFT and Managers: NJ DIRECT/NJ DIRECT 2019*
o For CWA: CWA Unity DIRECT/CWA Unity DIRECT 2019**
o For PBA, NJSOLEA and NJLESA: NJ DIRECT/NJ DIRECT 2019*; NJ DIRECT15; NJ DIRECT1525; NJ DIRECT2030; NJ DIRECT2035
· Tiered-Network Plan: Horizon OMNIA Health Plan (For all employees)
· HMO Plan: Horizon HMO (For all employees)
· High-Deductible Health Plans: NJ DIRECT HD1500; NJ DIRECT HD4000 (For all employees)
* Members hired prior to July 1, 2019 will be enrolled in NJ DIRECT. Members hired after July 1, 2019 will be enrolled in NJ DIRECT 2019.
** For CWA members only. Members hired prior to July 1, 2019 will be enrolled in CWA Unity DIRECT. Members hired after July 1, 2019 will be enrolled in CWA Unity DIRECT 2019.

Step 3. Login to Benefitsolver to enroll in any Health Plans
All Health Benefit elections must be submitted through Benefitsolver, a new website designed for employees to enroll in their benefits, make plan changes, add new dependents, and upload documentation. Employees who want to make plan changes will be able to access Benefitsolver through the myNewJersey portal. Those who do not have a myNewJersey account must create one in order to access Benefitsolver. Click here for instructions.
