School of Online Learning 12-Month Lecturer Position

The Lecturer is a full-time, twelve-month employee who teaches, provides instructional design related support and student and learning support services during the assigned period. The Lecturer holds a strong commitment to teaching; maintains office and advising hours for students; attends university seminars as assigned; actively participates in the university community; and performs related work as required. This is a non-tenure track position that may be renewed on an annual basis. Teaching assignments and related responsibilities may include day, evening, weekend and online courses. Courses may be taught at the Union campus, Kean Ocean in Toms River, New Jersey, Kean Skylands in Jefferson, New Jersey or other locations. Instructional Design related responsibilities will be determined by the Associate Dean.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in a related field and a minimum of one year of teaching experience at the post-secondary level is required. Two years of professional experience in instructional design and working knowledge of Learning Management Systems is preferred.
